Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer

Are you a skilled Graphic Designer looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our team at a leading printing press in Qatar!

Job Description:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Imposition software such as CTP and Color Management.
  • Ability to manipulate images and colors to achieve the desired output.
  • Familiarity with File Check/Pre-flighting, pagination/layout, key line/mock-up preparation, and error detection before printing.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical printing errors on client artwork.
  • Act as a key point of contact in the absence of the Pre-Press Supervisor.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Prepress Supervisor.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Familiarity with pre-press systems and ability to thrive under pressure while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Creative, efficient, and abreast of the latest advancements in printing technology.
  • Solid experience in handling Commercial/Packaging design projects.

Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor

A leading printing press in Qatar is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Ensure quality checks at every stage of production to prevent rejections.
  • Coordinate timely availability of press consumables (plates, inks, chemicals, coatings, etc.) to workstations.
  • Execute job orders and plates received from prepress (graphics).
  • Safely return leftover raw materials and consumables to the raw material store.
  • Achieve production targets as per issued job orders.
  • Meet machine utilization and efficiency targets.
  • Ensure accurate completion of timesheets.
  • Maintain international quality standards and meet customer specifications through product/process verification, shade, dimension, and specs verification.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs for start-up and make-ready processes.
  • Minimize process wastage as per SOP guidelines.
  • Follow shift handover/takeover procedures.
  • Report breakdowns or maintenance requirements promptly to the maintenance team and ensure timely resolution.
  • Plan, review, and update preventive maintenance schedules for all printing equipment.
  • Provide daily reports on overall equipment efficiency (OEE) to the production manager and General Manager.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Printing Industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Technical proficiency in prepress, press, post press, and graphics.
  • Knowledge of printing cost estimation.
